Ironworks Hotel
Overview
Hendricks Commercial Properties (HCP) approached us to help launch their new Ironworks Hotel in Indianapolis, IN. As part of this campaign, we were tasked with raising awareness around the new hotel and it’s location near the Fashion Mall at Keystone at the Crossing. We worked with HCP to develop a strategy & execution around the ground-breaking event, announcement video, and website launch.
Website // Challenges
The biggest challenge we faced was combining two locations under one URL. Ironworks was an already established brand in Beloit, WI - this was the location of their first hotel. The current site needed to be redesigned with the updated Ironworks branding. I needed to find a solution to bring the two locations together - primarily for SEO purposes but also for ease of use for the customer.
Website // Strategy
We designed and developed two sites (under one domain) so that there was a common theme across both locations. In addition to the site creation, we were also tasked with creating a landing page for the Indy location, prior to the launch of the full site. This landing page served as a place for press information, photography, video, as well as on-going updates throughout the construction phase. My team also created invitations (print & digital) that were sent out to local media for the hotel’s ground-breaking event. We also supported HCP through on-site photography of this event - the photos captured were then edited to be used across the Ironworks social channels.

My team and I planned & conducted interviews with a number of key players involved in the design, planning and production of the Ironworks Hotel. As this piece of content was to be delivered prior to the opening of the hotel, we had to re-think what could be filmed to visually represent the design & interior of the new location.
